SCENE 2: INT. DAY. HALLWAY AND STAIRS OF FLATS
We see RHEMUS' neighbours rushing out of their
flats and down the stairs. We cut quickly as they
descend the staircases, the sound of stampeding
feet prominent. Behind that we also hear the wail
of fire alarms.
The stampeding sound and hectic cutting come to a
head as the residents reach the bottom of the
stairs and try to make their way through the Fire
Exits and RHEMUS is stood there, the broken fire
alarm by his side. We see a pathetic faint smile
cross his face as he looks up at the faces of his
neighbours, who do not looks well pleased. One of
them, a particularly burly looking chap steps
towards him shouting, grabbing him and slamming
RHEMUS up against the wall.

BURLY MAN
What the fuck you
doin'!? We should get
you fucking taken away
for that!

RHEMUS (V.O.)

CUT TO BLACK:

RHEMUS opens his eyes, he is on his side lying on
the floor of the hallway. Blood encrusted under
his nose and a touch at the corner of his mouth.
He lifts himself off the floor and walks up the
stairs.
